🚀 Epix September Update: New Features You’ll Love! 🚀

Hey Epix users! 🌟

We’re thrilled to share the exciting updates and improvements we released last month. These new features are designed to enhance your productivity, simplify workflows, and provide you with more insightful data. Let’s break down the key updates! 👇

🧮 Analytics Enhancements

  • TRIR Calculation for Injury Reports: We’ve introduced a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR) calculation to our injury reports. This metric helps you measure the rate of workplace injuries, giving you actionable data to improve safety performance. 📊
  • New Productivity Filters: You have new filters for your productivity and calendar analytics, providing deeper insights into how time is managed across your teams. This update makes it easier to identify trends and boost productivity.
  • Enhanced Download Features: Exporting reports just got better! We've simplified the process of downloading analytics, injury, and work accident data, so you can access critical information faster and in a format that's easier to work with.

📅 Calendar & Document Management

  • Improved Multi-Day Calendar Changes: We’ve overhauled how multi-day changes are handled within the calendar. Now, modifying multi-day events is much more intuitive for end-users, making calendar management a breeze. ⏳
  • Collective Calendar Override: Initially requested by our German users, this feature allows overriding holidays and work schedules at the individual level for regions with different rules. It’s now a global feature, so it’s useful for every country!
  • Document Management Module (Almost Ready): We’re in the final stages of testing our brand-new document management module. This will allow users to store, manage, and retrieve documents easily within Epix. For our Belgian users, the feature to download payslips after payroll calculations has already been developed, and we’re working on similar automation for other countries!

🚗 Company Car Management

  • UI Fixes: We fixed the overflowing company car charts and added filter buttons to make it easier for you to analyze and manage fleet data. This fix ensures smoother navigation and better data visibility for managing company cars.

🌐 Country Specific Features

  • CZ, DE, NL Requirements: We’ve updated our platform to meet the latest requirements for the Czech Republic, Germany, and the Netherlands. These changes are based on feedback from our local providers, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • UK Payroll Automation: New UK-specific payroll closure files are now live, automating the payroll calculation process for our UK provider. This streamlines payroll management and reduces manual work.
  • IT Payroll Automation: Similarly, we’ve released IT-specific closure files to automate payroll calculations for our Italian provider, making payroll processing faster and more accurate.

📤 Import/Export

  • Field Export Fix: In some countries, certain fields weren’t exporting correctly. This has been fixed, ensuring complete data export for all supported countries.
  • Handling Multiple Contracts: We’ve improved the import/export process for employees with multiple adjacent contracts under the same employee number. The system now takes this into account to avoid data mismatches and errors.

💸 Payroll Closure Enhancements

  • Dutch API Update: For our Dutch provider using Nmbrs, we needed to swap the sign of transferred payroll values via API. Now, the system automatically adjusts this for all providers, ensuring correct data export every time. ✅

👤 Person & Contract Management

  • Improved Sidebar Readability: We’ve reorganized the contract list in the sidebar, making it easier to read and navigate. This small change improves overall usability, especially for users managing multiple contracts.

📈 Reporting & Validations

  • Bradford Factor Calculation: We’ve added the Bradford factor calculation to our reporting tools, which helps track absenteeism. Some users were unsure of how to configure and interpret the Bradford score, so we created a detailed help page that’s accessible directly from the report, providing all the information you need.
  • Validation Overview Page: Managing validations just got easier! We’ve built a dynamic overview page where you can see all the validations in Epix, organized in a tree structure. This page will automatically update as new validations are added, and you’ll find useful tips on how to resolve validation errors right within the platform. 🌍

🌐 Translations

  • Language Display Improvements: Languages are now displayed in their native names and reordered for clarity. This change applies both to the main Epix platform and the self-service tools used by end-users, making it easier for everyone to navigate the system in their preferred language.
